Not sure if any of you guys were using YouTube, back in the mid-late 2000s, but I know I was using it. While I don't know exactly what the first video I saw on YouTube was, what I do know is that I was using the site as early as 2008/2009, which meant that I would've been 7 or 8 at the time. The earliest things I can recall watching back then were things like brickfilms, The Evolution of Dance, Club Penguin music videos, (remember those? I do), The Gummy Bear Song, and the Crazy Frog music video, just to name a few. What were some of your memories of old YouTube?

Funny thing is, me, my dad, and I think my brother made a shitty brickfilm around the time period I previously mentioned, classic Windows Movie Maker and all. It was basically just a short loop of some Lego Star Wars characters walking around the ship, and then shortly after and one by one, all falling off it. My dad decided to put some Christian house music, (because my parents were kinda more religious around me back then, and still kind of are, but we don't really go to church anymore, though) as well as some segments of him aiming the camcorder at my then 7-8 year old face, before saying some wholesome fatherly stuff, and then the video ended. It never took off, and the last time I checked it, it had around 70+ views.
